Shopping Guide: The most useful gift evar!

A few of my friends spent a whole day coming up with a listing of the best Christmas gift to give my other geeky squad friends. The gift had to be very useful, ultra cheap (I’m broke!), easy to find because I don’t have a lot of time to shop.
So what did we come up with?
Velcro. Straps. For cables!
Being the messy guy that I am, I usually just wrap my mouse cable around the body before packing it into the bag (my wireless BT mouse runs out of battery fast). I also do the same for my charger and iPod shuffle earphones (it gets contortedly messy in my pocket). So when a friend introduced me to velcro cable organizer straps, I’ve seen the light and have become a much more tidy person since.
I don’t need to tell you where to find these – all malls and hardware stores have these hidden deep inside aisle 3 and 4, beside the RJ45 cables. Nobody really takes the time to buy velcro straps so maybe this Christmas, you can buy some for your uber geeky friends.
They don’t necessarily need to be velcro. You could get the slip-in ones (in picture). But velcro is much much better!
