Sony Ericsson TM506: Not quite out yet, still cool

More proof that Sony Ericsson is going the Nokia route. The new TM506 is by itself not a spectacular phone. It does deliver in terms of specs – 2MP camera, HSDPA, GPS, memory stick expansion with 35MB internal memory. These are the usual bells and whistles you’d find in a classic design. The phone isn’t out in the market yet, so what will make you fall in love with this clamshell is its form factor. Sony Ericsson has been pushing their updated real estate for a while, going for a more square look than rounded “egg” shape for their phones (reminiscent of 2006-2007).
Couldn’t help but notice the slight mistake; it’s a clamshell–not candybar form factor.
