The Sony Ericsson K660 is a mid range candybar phone that highlights ease of use with the comfortably round buttons and “neoclassic” design with its color scheme (Lime on white, Wine on black, Cyan on black, Silver on black). The K660 has a maximum of 1,000 phone book entries, USB connectivity and HSDPA. It comes with a 2MP camera, 256MB memory stick and 32MB of internal shared memory.

What’s most fascinating about the K6600 is how it looks. I’d compare it to a magazine stand with tons of publications on rack and only one sticks out because of a really attractive cover. Well, the K660 can be likened to that. If I were you, grab the lime green on white, as this looks the most attractive to the eye.

Available in black or pink (weird, because the phone is two tone black and pink!) the LG Venus is all elegance. The phone comes with dual screens, a 2MP camera for photos and video, microSD expansion and Bluetooth. If you’re looking for something rather different from the usual Sony Ericssons and Nokias, the LG Venus is a great dazzling option.
More photos after the jump.

Alternate title: Fix that ^&#$%#@$ keypad!
I was toying around with the Nokia N70 because of the recent launch of 3G here in the Philippines. Truth be told we’ve had 3G enabled phones since the better part of last year, overtaking the telco services themselves. But this was the first time I really decided to give some attention to the phone.
In essence the N70 is an improved version of the Nokia 6680. Better camera at 2.0MP, Bluetooth 2.0 support (wow!), and more multimedia playback features are but some of the improvements of this phone.

The N70 has dual cameras for video conferencing and quality artistic imaging. Its main 2MP camera is capable of up to 20x digital zoom. The front camera is still at 0.3MP (640×480) and is used for video conferencing.

But what I’m really starting to hate is the doggone keypad that assumes we all have slender elven fingers. Gosh, I’m Asian and I’m already having a hard time with the small keys.

The N70 also has a very rickety back cover that acts as a lens protector for the 2MP camera. This makes it a pocket hazard at times because the protector doesn’t really serve its purpose. it’s so easy to snap the plastic back and forth even though it has a sliding mechanism.

Pros
- Good quality 2MP camera when transferred to the computer
- Bluetooth 2 support

Cons
- Rickety sliding mechanism
- Very tight keypad
