If you’re one of the few kids who own a brand spankin’ new Nokia 5800 AND happen to own a Macintosh, you will probably notice that the Nokia iSync support site still doesn’t have a device driver for this phone. No worries, one will come soon. It always does. But in the meantime, you can check out tnkgrl’s self-developed iSync plugin which works just as fine!
Here’s a screenshot from my iSync profile. As you can see from the bottom, it recognizes the device!

Rico from The Gadget Blog is in Singapore now for a new Nokia press launch. Here are some videos of the Nokia 5800 hooked up to a HDTV. The resolution is amazing, thus a proof of concept that in the near future, our phones are merely conduits for big screen entertainment. With the launch of the new 16GB microSDHC cards, we’re bound to see more high def content on our mobile phones that can easily be projected to our teevees.
W00t!
