Motorola sues former exec for joining Apple iPhone sales team

Michael Fenger was formerly from Motorola. He joined Apple in March to be in charge of global iPhone sales.

Prior to joining Apple, Fenger was an executive for Motorola in that amorphous MBA-created part of the world known as EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa). As such, he was in a position to know almost everything about Motorola’s business practices and strategies, and Motorola thinks he is now using that information to harm the company and help Apple, according to Bloomberg. Motorola has been in a bit of a stumble ever since they left the mother company. But your guess is as good as mine as to why they are really suing. I guess with the iPhone playing a crucial part in Apple’s road to competition in the mobile phone industry, Motorola already has enough trouble staying in the top 5. What a blow.
