Ever wonder how phones get their names? There are two schools of thought in product marketing. The first is to come up with simple “consumer names” for products such as “Tiger” or “Leopard” or “LG Shine” or “BlackBerry Pearl.” But beneath these names are product codes that all brand managers have to memorize.
