If you are a developer and wondering how to get your apps published for the Ovi Store, this short video tutorial will help you and your team manage the process. You need to register at www.publish.ovi.com. It is currently free to register but you will need to be patient with your approval process. The Ovi Store also offers developer support through Forum Nokia.

The revenue share model for the Ovi Store is 70% in favor of the developer. The store will be available starting May 2009. So yeah, if you’re a developer, we suggest applying now.

Get set for Brew 2008! Scheduled for May 28-30 2008 at San Diego, this year’s industry focus will be on mobile content delivery and convergence of services. In addition to that, this year’s Developer Awards will be taking place on the 28th at 6:00 PM in the Partner Pavilion.

12 Days To Go for S60 Video Contest Submissions!

It’s attention back to the S60 developers who are currently running an online video contest! It’s been all about the apps lately as the group wants you to show off your best S60 Tips or do a show and tell of your favorite S60 app (mine is still PaNoMan). It’s crazy creativity that will be the judge – as well as the YouTube community who will rate your videos! The contest closes on the 20th of May leaving us with 12 days for submissions.
