Pocket Whiteboard for iPhone

The only thing that sucks balls is the fact that a notepad app like this should have been stock material for the iPhone. There have been numerous occasions when I would have wanted to jot down notes without the need of the virtual keypad, and Pocket Whiteboard is exactly what we’re looking for.

You’ll soon find yourself out of space when you start doodling: you can change the color of your marker, replay your work stroke by stroke and save your art in raw format.

Finally, BlackBerry Desktop for Mac

So RIM may be putting some companies out of business by releasing a native Blackberry desktop application, but oh well, this is really great news! The new application is coming out on October 2 (today!) and you’ll need to register to get more information about the new desktop conduit. Just like any other sync application, the BB desktop syncs your iTunes, calendar, address book, software and games.

This is great. After such a long wait, Blackberry is finally opening up to the rest of the consumer world. It’s time get out of those corporate clothes and go casual!

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic iSync Plugin

If you’re one of the few kids who own a brand spankin’ new Nokia 5800 AND happen to own a Macintosh, you will probably notice that the Nokia iSync support site still doesn’t have a device driver for this phone. No worries, one will come soon. It always does. But in the meantime, you can check out tnkgrl’s self-developed iSync plugin which works just as fine!
Here’s a screenshot from my iSync profile. As you can see from the bottom, it recognizes the device!

Missing Sync for BlackBerry

The Missing Sync is missing a vital tool for its BlackBerry to Mac pairing – the ability to install applications onto the device via USB connection. The Missing Sync for BlackBerry conduit, currently at version 1.0.1 is an efficient tool for synchronizing your BlackBerry with iTunes and iPhoto as well as your other PIM applications.
It seems that developing a conduit to install BlackBerry applications isn’t as easy as it seems to be. What MarkSpace does is allow you to download and buy apps directly from its online store. Missing Sync for BlackBerry is priced at $39.95. Nonetheless, Missing Sync for …read more
