If Motorola has David Beckam, Sony Ericsson has Maria Sharapova. The 20 year old Russian tennis player has signed a four year deal with Sony Ericsson to become the company’s first global brand icon. Sharapova will be involved in off court campaigns and will have some say in the design process of new Sony Ericsson accessories and handsets.
