Who doesn’t like How I Met Your Mother? People have been asking for the title of the song in the intro of the series so here you go — perfect to edit using RingTone Studio 2 and turn into a tone.
In any case, here is a link to Hey Beautiful by The Solids. The familiar theme from How I Met Your Mother starts at the last 30 seconds of the song but with the guitars as accompaniment.

Here’s a bit of early 2000 nostalgia. I’ve been re-reading Global Frequency, a series of graphic novels about ordinary human beings being called forth to do extraordinary things. There was a pilot movie adaptation from the comic books and one of the accessories that identified Global Frequency operatives was the mobile phone they carried – the pilot episode had a ring tone which became popular for some time.

When you request for a song by typing in an artists’ name or searching for a particular genre, you’re given a listing of the most popular results. Audials allows you to download them. The disturbing thing is that the application is seamless and powerful, …read more
Motorola W230: World’s cheapest music phone to date

Skeptical as I was, I did try it and boy were my reservations put aside. The W230 is the cheapest mobile phone with good (read: LOUD) MP3 audio playing capability. The W230 is capable of playing up to 2GB of music via microSD card. Perhaps the closest reservation I had was the fact that it doesn’t use a 3.5mm audio jack for audio. Instead it used a 2.5mm jack for audio accessories. I realize that the inclusion of a 3.5mm slot is reserved only for the ROKR series, the latest one being the ROKR E8. Hence, this is why it …read more
