You just have to check out this video — the LEGO Midstorm NXT robot solves the Rubik’s cube using a java based app programmed into the Nokia N95. The N95 captures photos of the color patterns from the cube’s many sides and instructs the robot to solve it!

A step up from the Nokia N95, the N96 comes packed with more memory that makes the N95 8GB look half as good. The N96 comes packed with 16GB of internal memory. One of the complaints from the N95 8GB was that the 3.5mm socket was located in an odd place. The new N96 fixes this problem by putting the socket on the top of the unit. Another huge plus is a stand which you can kick out to make the N96 hold itself upright when you’re watching those long movies. Cool.

Nokia LifeBlog Wordpress Plugin

The LifeBlog application of Nokia has a tweak which all Wordpress users may want to grab. Colbert Low talks about how his Nokia N95 is now a mobile wordpress platform using the Wordpres blog posting plugin. This is definitely a boon for consumers who saw the power of the LifeBlog app but just found it useless as they would have to reinvent the wheel once more by starting a Nokia-supported blog.
