So Sony Ericsson has announced another Walkman phone, dubbed as the W300. Dubbed as the W800i lite, this music phone has let go of all the luxurious features of the W800. It has downgraded the memory expansion to a bundled 256MB memory stick micro (M2 expandable to 1GB), changed the camera to a 640×480 VGA cam and sadly let go of the in-ear earphones and replaced it with high quality Sony earphones.
Aww shucks. Well depending on the price of the phone itself, I’d still try to grab a pair of in-ears because thats what makes these walkman phones different. Pfft. …read more

I had about five minutes with the Creative MuVO Vidz – the miniature media viewer of Creative. Aside from playing MP3 and WMA, it also plays MPEG4 videos and displays JPEG photos.
For such a small device (roughly the size of my thumb), I wonder when a 1.18″ OLED widescreen can be augmented for maximum viewing pleasure. A widescreen that’s roughly the size of half of my thumb you say? Haha!
The good pluses is that the Vidz is packed with an FM tuner and more importantly, a voice recorder. The version I got to tinker with was only capable of …read more
