Symbian Foundation launches beta

There’s excitement abounding the Symbian community as Symbian Foundation launches its beta testing program. I guess it’s one good way to support the current efforts of the Nokia Conversations blog as well as the Ambassador Program.
During the beta trial phase several thousand friends and members of the Symbian community are being invited to test and give feedback on the foundation’s developer website. Nokia 6708

A good friend has written his first impressions on the new Nokia 6708, which is the first UIQ touch screen device in a Nokia phone.
At the very least, the Nokia 6780 teaches four good habits. There’s no
way to text while driving (1), since the only way to enter text is by
writing with the stylus on the unit’s touch-sensitive screen. This
will improve your penmanship (2).
Logic would dictate with the numeric keypad entirely; it only inputs
numbers and there is an on-screen version. It sits mockingly below the
screen, leaving you to wonder why Nokia eliminated its ability to
