iTwinge adds physical keyboard to iPhone

For $29.00 you can turn your iPhone into an iconic Sony Ericsson P900. Well not really. But the principle is sorta similar. The iTwinge is a keypad attachment for the iPhone allowing you to use physical hardware buttons in the stead of a technologically superior touch screen. The iTwinge feeds off the battery from your iPhone, attaching itself to the charger’s end. The trade off is obvious: you get half the real estate and impaired functionality in the place of accurate typing.

Motorola ROKR E8 Revisited: A commentary on the “virtual keypad”

Let’s do a quick revisit. Back in February, Motorola announced the ROKR E8, their flagship music phone and I was able to get a quick glance over dinner. Now that it’s out and after going a few days with the ROKR E8, I have a few insight’s on Motorola’s latest music phone. It’s a big step from the ROKR E2 – as the new phone incorporates their ModeShift technology that relies heavily upon the touch sensitive virtual keypad that is case sensitive.
