The O2 Stealth: Probably my next Smartphone

The O2 Stealth is the latest smartphone that hails from the many inspired designs of OEMers HTC and Quanta. With the tried and tested formula with the XDA, XDA mini, the XDA IIs and IIi, you can be pretty sure that the Stealth will live up to the standards of hardware design and software stability. The long history also assures you that the Stealth does not suffer from the “first iteration” bug.

The problem that usually arises with the Dopod and XDA mini models had to do with sending SMS using the touch screen. Even if the software integrated a touch screen numerical keypad, the feel was still very different from hardware buttons.

Couple that with Bluetooth and 802.11g support, you have yourself a winner. I believe that the combined small form factor, the numerical keypad buttons (QWERTY keypads are great ya know, but space saving numpads are also good) and wireless Internet capabilities make this the perfect road warrior phone.

Yes agreed, a handy bit of kit. But you upgrade to Vista and see if you can get it to communicate with Outlook. Mine is not even recognised when I plug it in to a USB. I’ve reconfigured my Firewall and looked at the O2 website. No luck so far.
