It’s pretty amazing, really.  The lightweight (1.8 ounces) LG Mobile Projector has a projection distance of eight feet which will allow people to project videos and slideshows onto walls.  It won’t be quite as sleek as regular cell phones but some people will be willing to put up with the extra bulk for such a cool phone.

I can see so many business types with this thing tied to their hip or in their briefcase.  It has a 1 Ghz processor which should make file transfers pretty quick.  It also features “Smart Sensor” which uses fingerprint recognition instead of pass codes and pin numbers.

In one fell swoop, Judge Bonnie Sabraw of the Alameda County Superior Court has added $72.9 million to Sprint-Nextel’s loss column, and declared early termination fees illegal. Ruling against the service provider in a class-action lawsuit, the judge ordered the company to pay $18.2 million to the plaintiffs, and say goodbye to over $54.7 million, the total amount charged to reportedly over 2 million Californians when they terminated their post-paid plans early.

So does this apply to the iPhone 3G and AT&T lock in plans? Actually no. First off the FCC obviously sees through this as a scapegoat plan to get much desired hardware. They’re smarter than that. A whole bunch of AT&T customers all of a sudden becoming dissatisfied with AT&T’ service all at once? Too suspicious, it’s actually cute.

1. I have an original iPhone and I want to upgrade it to the iPhone 3G

2. I want to upgrade my iPhone and I’m eligible for upgrade pricing

3.I want to upgrade my iPhone but I am not yet eligible for the upgraded pricing scheme

Starting May 4th, AT&T will be releasing two new handsets to accommodate their Mobile TV service. The exclusive handsets will include the LG Vu and Samsung Access.

Channels will include: CBS Mobile, ESPN Mobile TV, FOX Mobile, NBC 2Go, NBC News 2Go, MTV Networks’ COMEDY CENTRAL, MTV and Nickelodeon.

There will be two exclusive AT&T channels via USA’s FLO TV. These channels are PIX and CNN Mobile Live:

I love Steve. I love Apple. I’m even open to spending more on a phone than a computer, but AT&T? The slowness of its data network is only exceeded by its lack of customer service. Can I just buy an iPhone to use as a PDA to impress my friends, listen to music, watch video, and access the Internet via Wifi while not having anything to do with AT&T? Can you hear me now?
