Coming this October, Motorola launches their first Android powered phone. Exciting — as it is one of the first iterations of the QWERTY keypad on an Android powered mobile phone. The DEXT comes with 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, a 5.0MP camera, sliding keyboard and preloaded with Cupcake v1.5.

The selling point of the DEXT is MOTOBLUR, an app that allow the syncing of all social networks including Facebook, Twitter, MySpace … I assume that the apps are modular similar to the “People” app built into the HTC Hero.

Available through Orange, it comes preloaded with Orange Maps.
