When the HD cameraphones come to town…

Kodak, one of the leading innovators for point and shoot cameras, is set to release their first HD compatible point and shoot camera very soon.

With the introduction of HD to its digital capture and display devices, Kodak is enabling people to display personal photos and videos with incredible image clarity and sharpness anywhere in the home – whether on HDTVs or digital picture frames.

This leads me to ask when the time will come for High Definition quality cameraphones to come to market. As it looks, the industry is slowly introducing TV out features with cameraphones with the debut of the 8GB Nokia N95. Is the next step not just about megapixel count but leaning towards a high def delight?

Signs point to yes.
