Here’s a great story about 14-year-old Akeem Havens and his wish to meet his favorite player — Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger. Akeem was tragically paralyzed from the neck down in a car accident when he was seven-years-old and relies on his family to take care of him. It was good to see the whole Steelers team involved in giving Akeem a day he’ll always remember. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Pennsylvania and Southern West Virginia is celebrating 25 years of making the dreams come true for children with life-threatening medical conditions.

I enjoyed the video it was very moving and emotional. I had my 14 year old son and his best friend watch it. I told them this is a example of a life lesson, your life could change in an instant.

    Thank you.
