I’m watching the Giants/Falcons MNF game and this is one play that caught my eye ….. check out the amazing body control by N.Y. Giants WR Amani Toomer on this catch. Great stuff. Atlanta CB DeAngelo Hall (or any other defensive back for that matter) is helpless in defending this kind of throw and catch. The ability to make a toe-dragging reception along the sideline — and have complete control of the football in your hands while you’re falling to the ground — is one of the traits that separates the men from the boys in a wide receiver’s NFL. The Giants scored on the next play.

    Just a MNF follow-up on Amani Toomer. He passed Tiki Barber for most receptions in club history (587) and also tied Kyle Rote on the Giants’ all-time list with his 48th career touchdown. The G-Men won 31-10.
