Kevin Everett Moves Rehab to Houston

As predicted a couple days ago, Buffalo Bills TE Kevin Everett was moved to Memorial Hermann-TIRR, The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research in Houston, to begin the next phase of his rehab. Kevin left Buffalo on a private plane and was then taken by ambulance to TIRR. This was his first time out of Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo since his injury back on Kickoff Weekend. But when you think about the progress he has made in such a short time — I keep saying it’s really a miracle. Doctors expect Kevin to be walking within a couple weeks.

    I had an injury similar to his, but slightly worse. I am pretty fully recovered (2yrs later) and do just about everything I used to.

    He received fast and excellent treatment!! He is going to do great, I’m positive.

    When I heard the initial prognosis from the doc saying a recovery was unlikely, I knew that doc was wrong. Some Docs shouldn’t rely too much on statistics…
