Kurt Warner Practices Despite Elbow Injury

I don’t write many posts about injuries because I could devote an entire blog to the topic, but I just received the NFL’s updated injury report this afternoon and I was shocked to see Arizona Cards QB Kurt Warner listed as questionable. This is a man with torn ligaments in his left elbow. Check out the brace. He looks like a robot. Doctors have assured him that he can’t get injured further by playing (how, exactly, they know this is beyond me) so I won’t be surprised to see him in action Sunday against Washington where head coach Ken Whisenhunt is calling it a game time decision. Kurt was limited in practice today and admitted “I’m not as good as yesterday,” but he also said he feels better than he did Wednesday. I think it’s incredible that he has any chance of playing at all.

Warner is a warrior. No way he should have been playing for like 6 weeks, yet he ended up not missing a start.
    That’s commitment people!
