Check out Washington Redskins rookie DT Lorenzo Alexander as he loses his helmet yet still makes the tackle on this play against the Tennessee Titans from this past weekend of preseason games. Luckily, the damage was only six stitches and Lorenzo was happy with that:

“My mom’s just happy I have all my teeth.”

I believe Lorenzo Alexander (whose new nickname is “Scarface”) just earned himself a roster spot. If this YouTube version isn’t good enough for you, check out the NFL Network version on the all-new NFL.com with commentary from Redskins’ defensive coordinator Gregg Williams.

  1. Smart players would not continue with the play, let alone a preseason one. Could have been his last and that would not helped his team past preseason.

    Play smart.
