Maddenoliday Takes Over Toys ‘R’ Us Times Square, Tiki Barber to Help Launch

The countdown to the release of Madden NFL ‘08 is really heating up (one week to go) and Toys “R” Us in Times Square, NYC, has gotten in on the action with a massive display on their storefront billboard. The store will celebrate a special midnight Maddenoliday when they open their doors at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, August 14 to launch one of the most anticipated videogames of the year. Former N.Y. Giants RB Tiki Barber (now a correspondent and analyst for NBC) will be on-hand to sell the first copy. The first 150 fans to purchase Madden NFL ‘08 will receive a ticket to the official Maddenoliday after-party taking place that night in Times Square. Maddenoliday has become just that — a holiday. These sorts of launch parties will be taking place all over the country.
I can’t wait for this. I’m lining up early!
