New NFL Logo to be Introduced at Draft

If you’re a keen observer, you’ve noticed a slightly modified version of the NFL logo floating around these days. And you’re intrigued. Well, the National Football League is introducing an upgraded NFL shield that will be officially unveiled at the upcoming 2008 NFL Draft April 26-27. I like the new version a lot. It’s cleaner and less cluttered. And while it stays true to the original’s design, the new shield is thinner; the font is more modern; and the number of stars has been reduced from 25 to eight, representing the eight NFL divisions (four in each conference). The football has also been modified to look more like the one on the Vince Lombardi trophy. And the blue color is slightly darker.
I like the new logo. Most people probably won’t notice the changes unless they are pointed out.
I like it. Good thing is that these eight stars symbolize eight divisions. Also, the new football is more realistic (3D) than previous one.

SUCKS! THEY SHOULD HAVE GONE WITH A BRAND NEW DESIGN. THIS IS NOT A NEW LOGO, JUST A MODIFIED ONE.
The NFL logo was one of the nicest, and most traditional logos that there was in the sports world, I believe they ruined it with the very unnecessay changes that were made.
