The Minnesota Vikings had a good defense last season. In fact, it was good enough to help D-coordinator Mike Tomlin land the Steelers head coaching position this year. But if this preseason is any indication of what lies ahead, we could be looking at the second coming of the famed Purple People Eaters from the 70s. Minnesota has returned four INTs for touchdowns in two games. Last night against the Jets, the Vikings took three picks to the house in a 37-20 win in New York. New defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier has to be credited. But key players coming off injuries — namely Chad Greenway, Erasmus James, Tank Williams — doesn’t hurt the team’s chances of improving.
