Indianapolis Colts receiver Reggie Wayne appears in a new commercial for Reebok Hexride running shoes which debuted Thanksgiving Day on NFL Network. Reggie appears to be running through a tire drill on top of a pool of water, but in actuality, the surface is blue-painted wood built into the pool with water added later as a special effect:
“Not many people can say they walked on water. To be one of the select few is always a great thing. But I don’t think it’s going to take much for me because I feel like I walk on water every day.”
While Reggie isn’t on the same level with teammate Peyton Manning’s endorsement dollars (Peyton made $13 million last year alone), he says he’s “building a foundation.” You gotta start somewhere.

Im not trying to take anything away from this most excellent player, but what he says really bothers me.. Jesus walked on water, and you are NOT Jesus nor are you remotely close to being Jesus. Consider what you say before you say something stupid that offends so easily. Reebok should be ashamed for this commercial and I wont personally buy anything from them ever again. Its ideas and commercials like this that adds to the dumbing down of america… that adds to the loss of value and morals… the loss and repression of a religion for a pair of shoes… amazing…
