The Houston Texans signed free agent linebacker Roosevelt Colvin yesterday. Rosie had 52.5 sacks in nine years with the Patriots and the Bears. He started 10 of 11 games for the Pats last season before unfortunately missing the last five regular season games and the playoffs with a foot injury. The Texans are talking about playing him at linebacker and defensive end, but either way you can bet he’ll be rushing the QB, something he loves to do:

As part of the festivities surrounding the 2008 NFL PLAYERS Gala featuring the JB (James Brown) Awards in Washington D.C., players from around the National Football League joined local Special Olympics athletes for a football clinic yesterday morning. The clinic featured more than 75 local Special Olympics athletes participating alongside NFL player-honorees in five friendly, non-contact football stations.
