Brett Favre is out of control. This afternoon he became only the second quarterback in NFL history to reach 60,000 passing yards in a 34-0 rout of the Minnesota Vikings. For the Vikes, it was a must-win to get back into the NFC North playoff race, but the Packers were having none of it as the offense controlled the ball for a whopping 40 minutes and the defense held Minnesota to 247 total yards. Brett Favre Goes For Touchdown Record

Entering the 2007 season, Green Bay Packers QB Brett Favre needs only seven more touchdown passes to top Hall of Famer Dan Marino on the NFL’s all-time list in that category. Dan has 420. Brett has 414. Nobody else is even close. Fran Tarkenton is in third place with 342. Of course, one still-active player, Peyton Manning, might have something to say about this record before he is done. Peyton has 275 TDs and counting.
