Matt Hasselbeck’s Back is Better

The bulging disk is Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck’s back seems to be better. That’s if the team’s recent OTAs are a reliable indication. Matt is essentially playing against air with non-contact practices against his Seattle teammates. But his injury is apparently a thing of the past. According to The News Tribune in Tacoma, Matt’s release is “so consistent and the spiral so tight, he resembles a baseball pitcher with perfect ‘command’ of all his pitches.”

The Seattle Seahawks have been decimated with injuries at the receiver position. It’s just ridiculous. Deion Branch, Bobby Engram, Nate Burleson, Logan Payne and Ben Obomanu are out (Deion and Bobby are scheduled to return after the team’s bye week — the rest are gone for the season).
