The Oakland Raiders continued their offseason activity by signing DE Kalimba Edwards to a two-year, $5 million deal today. I’d say this was a great pickup if Kalimba had been living up to his potetntial. But if that were the case, he’d still be in Detroit with the Lions. I hesitate to get too excited for the Raiders on this one. The move is a justifiable attempt to not only continue improving on their 22nd-ranked defense, but to also boost their pass rush.
