Lance Briggs Agrees to One-Year Deal

Although Lance Briggs previously said he would hold out for 10 games this season, he changed his mind and decided $7.2 million wasn’t chump change, agreeing to a one-year deal as the Bears’ franchise player. Apparently Lance wanted the world and wasn’t able to get it from the Bears or any other team who might have been interested in trading for him.
