Both the Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts did what they had to do. With nothing to gain in terms of playoff positioning, Indy rested their starters for most of last night’s season finale and the Tennessee Titans relied on backup quarterback Kerry Collins, subbing for the injured Vince Young, to get the team to the AFC Wild Card Weekend. It turned out to be a competitive football game, but Tennessee hung on for a hard-fought 16-10 win.

Charges Against Pacman Jones Delayed

In the ongoing saga that is Pacman Jones‘ life, the Tennessee Titans DB appeared in General Sessions Court in Murfreesboro, TN today. It was ruled that he must wait to see how felony charges are filed against him before a Tennessee court can rule whether his plea bargain can be revoked. A new hearing was set for January 3, 2008 to revisit the case. The charges prosecutors were trying to revive come from an incident last August at a nightclub in Murfreesboro.
