Remember Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner’s record-setting 24-of-26 passing performance Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars? Of course you do. His 92.3 completion rate surpassed the previous mark set by Vinny Testaverde of the Cleveland Browns back in 1993 (Vinny was 21-of-23). Well, Kurt’s jersey and a football from the Cardinals’ win will be shipped to Canton, OH and placed on exhibit in the Hall’s Pro Football Today Gallery.

Carolina Panthers Sign Vinny Testeverde

Vinny Testeverde is still alive! And the Carolina Panthers want him on their football team. The Panthers signed the soon-to-be 44-year-old QB to a one-year deal today as a backup to David Carr (who was a backup to the injured Jake Delhomme). The thing is, David’s also banged up. He missed practice today, so Vinny might start Sunday against Arizona after a five-day crash course in the Carolina playbook. Is that nuts? Vinny thought so:
