The Ocho Cinco Show on Ustream

When Twitter wasn’t enough for Chad Ochocinco to express himself, he started his own Ustream show to take the power of the press into his own hands. And I have to admit, it’s a great idea. If you want to hear it straight from Chad’s mouth and not the media’s, check it out. While it’s not something I could sit and watch for very long, it is better than half the “reality” shows on TV.
Chad has his computer at Bengals training camp and when he’s not in meetings or practice, he’s jawing on The Ocho Cinco Show, which so far has been drawing around 1,400 viewers at one time. Topics range from relationship advice to answering random chat questions about himself and football. He also makes calls to celeb friends like Warren Sapp, Lil Wayne and agent Drew Rosenhaus, to name a few.
You get an interesting insider look at what life at training camp is like—well, at least from his dorm room at Georgetown College. One example: he enjoyed (ok, made fun of) the team’s late night snack of chicken wings and carrot sticks before starting tonight’s episode. And when one of his coaches made the rounds to ensure all the players were in their rooms (a $9,000 fine if they’re not), Chad was busy Ustreaming. There is no set schedule, but he usually posts something on his Twitter when he’s about to go live. Check it out if you can’t think of anything else to do with your time.
