Although the NBA is a few more seasons away, Angus Brandt is headed on the right track to be the next Australian to make it to the NBA. Brandt, who was born in Sydney, Australia, is a 6-foot-10 power forward who has a lot of skills and a lot of athleticism.
While he’s still skinny and growing into his body, he’s starting to get a lot of attention from scouts. He came to the United States in June of 2008 and has since played in a lot of AAU tournaments and various other summer leagues. At each stop, Brandt has impressed basketball scouts — with some going as far to call him a future NBA player.
The next step for the 18-year-old is to find an American college. A number of big name schools are after him including Gonzaga and Arizona. At that point, he can begin the process of proving he’s a legitimate NBA player.
Here is a Angus Brandt video that shows some of his NBA potential:

What crap, he could’nt even score in state league back in NSW, he needs alot of work, and needs people to stop paying attention to him because of his height. Let him develop at his own pace, with out unworthy attention.
shut up u wanker hes heaps good
Sup Gus, good to see your enjoying the US mate.
I can see all the training over there is finally bringing out all your full potential.
Gotta love the haters that cant get anywhere and slam someone who is moving up, lol.
He has been doing 2-4 hour training sessions every day, teaching him, seeing Australian basketball is pathetic as, Im happy he is doing well and continues to get better, All the good players have to go overseas as ball in Australia is pathetic.
It’s ok Kell, he is there training and getting better while your packing bags at Franklins, Keep up drinking the Hatorade nub.
Hey Kell, Rodman couldnt score, he must be crap,
Ben Wallace cant score, he must be crap,
Yes basketball is all about the Offence isnt it, Learn the dynamics of the game before you post. Celts, Bulls, Lakers, Rockets, all those teams were based on D, with a good solid offence around it.
It’s ok Kell, Jealousy is a bitch. Hope you get over it and support our players that go over and try and make it.
lol, state league. That’s where pro’s are made.
Don’t be hatin cause someone is better than you.
so proud of u mate,
stay focused on getting better, smarter, stronger ~ be urself & enjoy the journey!
to anyone who doesent believe, see & read the proof!

Kell Taylor your a tool, just because someone else is living your dream.
i Love sam
LOL, Kell,
Dude, I saw your game where you played those guys in the blue, they had 3 players, 3!!!! and you still lost by 20, LOL,
Your opinion is worth nothing seeing at least I’ve played state league and for my state. Seriously man, how could you lose by 20 to 3 players with 5 and 3 subs, LOL, I know Angus with just 4 others would have beaten them, but then we should believe some scrub like you that a player who is far beyond wherever you will ever get to in skill is doing only what you can dream of, have fun in div 2 youth league scrub, lol
Wow. Never thought I’d see the day when someone pretends to be me. Just thought I’d clear my name up.
I think I’ve met Angus once. I’ve never seen him play. I’d have no idea if he’s good enough to be in the NBA or whatever as I stopped following basketball about four years ago. I play once a week at Blaxland if I can make the game in time. I did enjoy playing youth league div 2 this year and I may play again if I’m good enough to make the team. And yes that was a poor effort when we lost to the blue team with three guys. And I’ve never worked at franklins. I wish I had the time.
I do know who it was pretending to be me but I’m not going to name names.
but anyways in keeping with the nature of this page… Good luck Angus. Screw you Kell.
