Brett Favre to Unretire? Gets Locker as a Gift

Brett Favre might actually stay retired after all. While many have assumed Favre would eventually unretire, Favre recently took another step into retirement.
The Green Bay Packers will send Favre his old locker as a gift. The team contemplated on what to do with Favre’s locker before coming up with the plan to give it to him. Obviously, the Packers didn’t want anyone to have to live up to Favre’s legacy by taking over his locker.
While I could still see Favre coming back, this might be another sign that Favre will actually stay retired. If Favre doesn’t come back, the Packers will go with Aaron Rodgers at quarterback. In fantasy football, Rodgers will be looked up as a backup — especially early in his career.
If Favre does return, many fantasy football owners may contemplate going with Favre as a fantasy starter once again.
