Baltimore Ravens – The Ravens have long been thought of as a very good fantasy football defense, however many see Baltimore slipping in 2008. While they may slip a bit, they should still end up as a top ten defense. If the Ravens stay healthy, they could end up top five.
Philadelphia Eagles – Jim Johnson, the defensive coordinator for the Eagles, runs a very fantasy friendly defensive system. Johnson likes to blitz and cause havoc. For that reason a lone, the Eagles have potential to be dominant in fantasy football each and every week.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers – The Bucs don’t get much respect but they are a very solid defensive group. With a good mix of veterans and younger players, Tampa Bay plays smart and does a good job of not giving up big plays. As a backup defense, the Buccaneers should be very good.

Can Jon Gruden get his defense to play at an elite level in 2008?
