Fantasy Baseball Third Baseman Rankings

With the 2009 fantasy baseball season beginning today, here is a look at the rankings of the top 20 fantasy baseball third basemen. The most difficult person to list on the rankings was undoubtedly Alex Rodriguez. Rodriguez’s value depends on how quickly he can recover from his hip surgery. If he can return earlier than expected, he’s a top three third baseman. If not, he could slip all the way out of the top ten.

Another player whose health plays a big role in their rank is Chipper Jones. Last year, Jones had a very good season but struggled with injuries. If he can put those injury woes behind him, he may very well climb into the top five.
