Fantasy Football Week 17: The Studs

If you had any of these players on your team this week, you’re a happy camper right about now.

QB Quinn Gray, Jacksonville Jaguars
I don’t know many fantasy football owners who started Gray this week but if you were one of them, you deserve a pat on the back. Gray had over 300 yards passing and four touchdown passes. With the Jaguars resting most of their starters, Gray got a shot to prove he’s a capable backup quarterback in the NFL.

RB DeAngelo Williams, Carolina Panthers
Williams has had a very rocky season but he ended in on a high note. In Week 17, Williams had 121 yards and two touchdowns as the Panthers beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While the Bucs weren’t trying to win, Williams’ fantasy points still count the same.

WR Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals
At one point this season, Fitzgerald was a bit of a bust. However, he ended very strong and his end of year stats look as good as ever. In his final game might have been his best game of the season. Against the St. Louis Rams, Fitzgerald had 11 catches, 171 yards and two touchdowns.

K Morten Andersen, Atlanta Falcons
If this is how Andersen’s career ends, he went out with a bang. The 47-year-old kicker had three field goals and five extra points. An amazing stat is Andersen connected on 25-of-28 field goals this year for 89.3%. That percentage was the highest mark of his NFL career – which dates all the way back to 1982!
