Joakin Noah, a bigman who recently finished his rookie season with the Chicago Bulls, has been charged with possession of marijuana and for having alcohol in an open container. Noah was arrested in the early morning hours on Sunday.
Noah is best known for leading the Florida Gators to back-to-back national championships. He went on to be drafted ninth by the Bulls in the 2007 NBA draft.
In his rookie season, Noah averaged 6.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and nearly one block per game. Noah started 31 games for Chicago and in those games he averaged 9.2 points and 7.2 rebounds.
His arrest on Sunday will most likely result in a fine and possibly community service. He was arrested in Gainesville, Florida, the city where the University of Florida is located.
While the Bulls management can’t be happy with Noah’s latest transgression, it’s doubtful he will face any harsh penalties. He remains a good NBA prospect who could become a solid fantasy center in his second season in the league.

Kid ever struck me as like that, but there’s a lot of worse things out there than dope.
Noah will probably max out as a quality big man, never starter material though
