Marques Colston Injury Update – Fantasy

It sounds like Marques Colston of the New Orleans Saints should return from a thumb injury in time for Week 6. While earlier in the week, many people had Colston out until Week 7 at the earliest, he’s had a good week at practice and reports that his thumb is feeling much better.

If Colston does start, he is a must play in all formats. Colston’s presence also helps Drew Brees and makes Brees an even better fantasy football starter in Week 6.

Colton’s return does hurt a few players in the fantasy world, namely Devery Henderson and Lance Moore. Brees will always look to Colston first if he’s in the game, which hurts the value of Henderson and Moore. Moore may still be a decent start since he’s a favorite target of Brees on third downs.

Keep an eye on Marques Colston early in the day to get an injury update in regards to a final word on whether or not he’s playing in Week 6 for the New Orleans Saints.
