Pacman Jones is back on the practice field for the Dallas Cowboys. While he hasn’t been totally reinstated by Roger Goodell, Jones is well on his way of being able to play in the NFL once again. If he doesn’t get in anymore trouble, Goodell is expected to allow Jones to resume his NFL career.
Jones was suspended last year when he was on the Tennessee Titans due to many brushes with the law. Jones is now saying that he has learned from his past and will keep his nose clean.
If Jones does indeed clean up his act, he has an almost unlimited amount of football potential. He’s a defensive back who can be a game changer. Jones is a great athlete and has good hands for a defender. Once he gets his hands on the ball, he’s a threat to score.
In addition to his defensive responsibilities, expect the Cowboys to also use him to return punts and kicks. There is also some talk about Jones playing on the offensive side of the ball.
