Richard Hendrix is a power forward from the University of Alabama whose stock is quickly rising. Hendrix, who announced on Monday that he’s leaving Alabama to enter the 2008 NBA Draft, has been impressive when working out for teams in the last few weeks.
Hendrix’s main strengths as a player are rebounding and physical play. He’s shown a knack to rebound at just about every level he’s played in. He’s also strong and fearless enough to mix it up down low with anyone.
Right now, it appears as if Hendrix will be drafted between 25 and 45. He’s a little bit of a longshot to be drafted in the first round, however he has helped his chances tremendously in the last few weeks.
