After Week 1, there are a number of players that are sell high candidates heading into Week 2. If you have any of these players on your team, you can trade them now to maximize their value.
QB Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers
In Week 1, Ben Roethlisberger looked very good and was throwing the ball all around the field. But the Steelers will eventually start running more, which will lower Roethlisberger’s potential. Trade him now to a team struggling at QB.
RB Cadillac Williams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
I can’t imagine Cadillac Williams holding up for the entire 2009 fantasy football season. While he’s healthy, see what you can get on the trade market.
WR Nate Burleson, Seattle Seahawks
In Week 1, Nate Burleson was a big part of the Seahawks offense. But as the season goes along, you have to think that TJ Houshmandzadeh will take a bigger slice of that pie.
TE Ben Watson, New England Patriots
Sure, his two touchdowns were very impressive. But he doesn’t even start at tight end for the Patriots and he’s likely to once again become invisible in the fantasy world.
