Semih Erden – 2008 NBA Draft Prospect

Looking for a player to target on your fantasy dynasty basketball team? Semih Erden is a relatively unknown player out of Turkey who is currently playing for a Turkish team. At 7-foot and 250 pounds, Erden is surprisingly athletic. He can run up and down the court and can also jump well.
Some scouts question Erden’s mental readiness and the 21-year-old still has a lot of maturing to do. Prior to the draft, Erden is going to have to prove to scouts that he’s ready to play in the NBA both physically and mentally.
If you watch a few highlights of Erden, what will jump off the screen is his big body and his athleticism. If he can put it all together, there’s no reason why he can’t be a first round draft pick in the 2008 NBA Draft.
