5. Dwight Howard, Orlando Magic
Although he’s having a great season, it isn’t quite Dwight Howard’s turn to win the NBA Most Valuable Player Award. Before he wins it, he’ll need to make more noise in the playoffs. However, it’s a good sign for his popularity that he’s leading the entire NBA in All-Star voting.
4. Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers
Last year’s NBA MVP, it doesn’t appear as if Kobe Bryant has much of a chance to win the award back-to-back. Since the Lakers are so talented this season, Bryant doesn’t have to do as much — thus, his numbers are down. …read more
