Fantasy football owners around the world didn’t like hearing the news that Plaxico Burress has been suspended for a game for skipping a team meeting. Burress has developed into a fantasy football hoss and a touchdown machine. Now his owners will have to make do without him — all because he missed a team meeting.
With Burress out of action, the Giants will have to look elsewhere for production at wide receiver. The good news in that New York is packed with a ton of solid wideout options. Amani Toomer, Sinorice Moss, Steve Smith, Mario Manningham and Domenik Hixon all are …read more

The New York Giants don’t have a lot of household fantasy football names, however didn’t stop them from getting to the Super Bowl. Here are the top five fantasy football players on the Giants.
1. Plaxico Burress, Wide Receiver
After watching Burress single-handedly destroy the Green Bay Packers, it’s hard not to expect great things out of him in the Super Bowl. He’s going up against a great defense but he’s had success against all types of defenses this year. His size and strength makes him a tough cover for anyone in the NFL.

QB Brett Favre, Green Bay Packers
With Favre playing a home game for a chance to make the Super Bowl, how could you not love to have him on your fantasy football team? He played very well last week against the Seattle Seahawks, as he lead a barrage of scoring drives to dig his team out of an early hole. Expect Favre to be slinging it around the field and finish with at least a pair of touchdowns to his name.

When choosing running backs one of the first things you look at is if that back gets the goal line carries. Ones that don’t, like Tiki Barber (last year) and Julius Jones, don’t carry …read more
