Gilbert Arenas Injury Update – More Surgery

Another month, another surgery for Gilbert Arenas. The Washington Wizards star guard needs yet another surgery on his troublesome knee. According to published reports, Arenas will likely be out until at least sometime in December.
Since hurting his knee at the end of the 2006-07 season, Arenas hasn’t been right. He’s struggled with knee pain and the latest discomfort led to Arenas having the knee cleaned out to remove debris.

Trent Plaisted 2008 NBA Draft Prospect

Trent Plaisted has officially made himself eligible for the 2008 NBA Draft. Plaisted, who completed his junior season at BYU, hired an agent on Friday. It was somewhat of a surprising move because most draft experts expected Plaisted to return to BYU.
What has kept Plaisted from being a better NBA prospect is his questionable motor. According to scouts, he doesn’t always go all out and tends to drift mentally.
