The Falcons are going against an Oakland Raiders defense that simply isn’t that good. Last week, fellow rookie quarterback Joe Flacco had a good fantasy day against this same defense. Although there was only one trade on the NFL trading deadline, the deal of Roy Williams to the Dallas Cowboys will have major ramifications in both the NFL and in fantasy football. On Tuesday, the Cowboys completed the long rumored deal with the Detroit Lions by sending three draft picks to Detroit for the talented wide receiver.

Where should you draft your fantasy defense in a fantasy football draft? To answer that question, you should first see where defenses are going in an average 2008 fantasy football draft. Here is a look at the average draft position for fantasy defenses so far in 2008:
San Diego Chargers – Beginning of the 9th round.
Minnesota Vikings – Middle of the 9th round.
New England Patriots – Middle of the 10th round.
Dallas Cowboys – Middle of the 10th round.
Indianapolis Colts – End of the 11th round.

Apparently, Tom Brady’s ankle is feeling better. Earlier this offseason, Brady said he was still injured and not feeling 100%. Brady was originally hurt before last season’s Super Bowl, in which the New England Patriots lost to the New York Giants.
